After discussion amongst the admins we have decided to change the membership process. We have changed the membership process in the hopes of not having to reject pieces of work in which people have poured a lot of time and effort.

:bulletblue::bulletgreen:PLEASE REVIEW THE NEW PROCESS HERE:bulletgreen::bulletblue:

If you have already requested a combination you may still submit a character sheet, BUT you may consider seeking membership before you start a character sheet if you are concerned about it possibly being rejected.

Again, we are instituting this new membership process in the hopes that we can avoid people spending time on pieces only to have them rejected.  From the Rules and How To Join:

Keep in mind that we are not trying to select only the “elite” for this group, rather we are trying to select artists we feel can complete the challenges at the level of quality we require for the group. The goal is to make sure we aren’t wasting anyone’s time on both the artist’s end and ours. Therefore, we reserve the right to reject applications without comment or explanation and assume that you understand that rejection is a risk you take by applying.

Thanks!

So if I asked for a combination and I am almost done with the character sheet, does that mean that I can submit it the old way? If it gets rejected, so be it.

Yup :) Submit the sheet with your membership request.

Does that mean, that if we already had a request that has been accepted, and not has submitted the ref-sheet yet, we should join the gruop before doing so?

That's up to you. Looking at you gallery I think it's clear you can meet our expectations, but whether or not you want to join first or go ahead and complete your sheet is up to you.

Ugh, my refsheet is lined and half colored already. Can I just straight submit it since I've already put the work into it (well, once it's done, that is)? I've had a combo requested for a while, but school and work nommed my face, so I've been working on it on and off.

Since you already have a combo requested it's entirely up to you if you want to put the additional work into the sheet and submit it, or if you want to apply for membership first.

So just to be clear, I already asked for a combo before I fell ill (Go figure) so not submitted the sheet yet. As long as it's obvious I've not decided to rush and play stick doodle I'll be all right without submitting the proof of artisitc quality?

I'm still out of it unfortantely so I just want to be absolutely sure :)

Looking through your gallery I don't think you will have a problem. I would recommend just submitting your sheet.
