Where: Note the community with a PNG (transparent background) of your adult gryphon roughly facing to the side. The main images on your character sheets would be perfect for this.
Purpose: To have a compilation for each aery of it's inhabitants and their rough sizes so if people want to include other members in their illustrations they know what size they are. And it would just look cool to have all these pretty gryphons compiled together, standing side by side!
Example:Here is an example of what the compilations would look like (but the Tookie Islanders and each aery will be separated out.)
We'd love as many as gryphons to participate as possible, so please let us know if you have any questions and we look forward to your submissions!
I noticed that as more and more characters get added, the 'meter stick' in the size charts gets really far away @.@ maybe a grid in the background would be a useful thing to have? Just musing aloud.
Have you any program currently in which to do art? Photoshop is certainly not a necessity, and there are even a few free programs about. A non functioning tablet I suppose could be more of a difficulty if you desire to do digital work, but not an impossibility. Mouse work can produce some lovely results, with care. Alternatively, you could work with traditional media instead, and scan the work in to submit. There are a few other people who will be submitting their PNGs in this fashion.
Gah! I soooo want to do this but currently my comp has a virus and I cannot draw Alcina because the virus wont allow the computer to open photoshop!! grrr.... oh well maybe...eventually I could do it.. depending on if the virus can ever be cleaned out >.> grrr but I cant wait to see all the gryphs :3
